The childhood<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I`m Hajnalka van Duinen, I`m Hungarian living in The Netherlands since 2009. I was born and raised in Arad, in the western extremity of Transylvania. I grew up on the small farm of my grandparents, surrounded by nature and animals. Slow living and self-sufficiency was their motto and they followed the seasonal customs and Hungarian traditions which are deeply engraved in my heart and mind. They gave me a sense of who I am and where I come from.<\/p>

When I turned 12, I moved with my parents to Budapest where the big city life completely mesmerized me. In lack of any real career devotion, after high school, I studied catering and hotel management as per my teachers\u2019 and parents\u2019 advice. I graduated from the Budapest Business School as an economist, but already during my traineeship I realized that it`s not my path, I didn`t feel passionate about the branch.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The adulthood<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After graduation I felt a bit a lost not knowing what`s next. At this time I was proposed a recruiter job at a Dutch employment agency located in the heart of Budapest. This job opened new dimensions in my life and in my career.<\/p>

I have been studying the Dutch language and culture with enthusiasm for 2 years, when I have received a job offer in The Netherlands. A brand new beginning, a great adventure. From a staff planner I shortly grew to an operations manager, led different projects and I had the luck to coach and train international teams. Even though I lived the best time of my life, stress shadowed my days. There were signs that a role in management might not be my predestined journey, but since I always raised the bar for myself I tried to ignore those warning signs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The burn-out<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2012 I met my future husband, later we bought a house, we got a dog, I started to work as an office manager and life was truly great until I started to get panic attacks in different situations: at home, at work, even during holiday. I wanted to change my life but I didn`t know how to and I was too proud to ask for help until 2018 when I got a burn-out. It completely shook my world.\u00a0<\/p>

I decided to reach out for professional help. I went through a rough but interesting journey. I learned how to slow down again, how to focus on the little things which always made me happy such as big walks in the nature, gardening, reading, painting or crafting. I engaged in mindfulness, in Qigong practices and in journaling. Self-care routine helped me out from the deepest point of my life.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The realization<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

When I felt better again, I resigned from work and I applied again on management positions. You would think I had enough time to learn from my mistakes\u2026 In a span of a year I changed jobs three times. I felt disappointed, frustrated and lost. Luckily I got my old office manager position back. It felt good to be back in my comfort zone, when suddenly Covid terrified the whole World. I loved working from home and I enjoyed every moment of slow-living. My sweet son was born during the 2nd wave of the epidemy, but shortly after I lost my deeply loved Grandmother to Covid. Within a year I also lost my lovely godmother and my aunt to cancer. The birth of my son, the family losses and my carrier struggle let me realize that there is no time left for wasting my life on things which don`t make me happy. I wanted to live a purpose driven life.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Since I was a child, I am always dreaming of having a meaningful profession. I always wanted to connect and help others in a way. After long self-reflection and research I realized that I want to become a masseuse. Tears of happiness came rolling down when I gained my diploma. I`ll never forget that feeling. I was so happy and proud what I have achieved. Since then I`ve became completely hooked on different massage techniques and I keep improving my skills.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The logo<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I would like to say a word about my logo. It`s made in the memory of my Grandmother who was always my inspiration and my tower of strengths. The \u2018 Lily of the valley\u2019 symbolizes purity, joy, love, sincerity, happiness and luck in the Hungarian symbolism. The \u2018Lily of the valley\u2019 otherwise known as Convallaria Majalis, it commonly blooms in May, in my birth month, therefore my Grandmother used to call me \u201cGy\u00f6ngyvir\u00e1gom\u201d, my \u2018Lily of the valley\u2019.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
